As well as ready to wear garments, they provide a made to order service where customers are able to choose the fabric and style of a dress and it is lovingly made to suit them perfectly. They also provide an alteration service for garments that require just a little tweaking – taking a garment in or letting it out in just the right place can make all the difference to the look and feel of an outfit.

To complete your look, they also stock an impressive range of ready to wear hats and fascinators, as well as specially commissioned headwear crafted by local milliner, Mairi Brunninng. Lady JoJo’s specialises in vintage inspired designers that combine the best of vintage and cutting edge fashions to encapsulate all the class and elegance of bygone eras but with a contemporary twist.  We opened our doors in April 2010 and since then we have had a fabulous time making the women of Edinburgh even more glamorous.

In 2011 we converted the boutique's lower ground floor into a studio and launched our own brand!  From this space we create garments for our own Lady JoJo's label, offer made-to-measure/alteration services and we even have our own bridal range with all items lovingly made right here in Edinburgh. 

You will always stand out in a Lady JoJo’s dress and our customers say that they get an endless array of beautiful compliments!  Since opening we have had an exciting celebrity clientele including the fabulous Stephanie Beacham, Hollyoaks girls, the gorgeous Camille O'Sullivan, Tim Minchin (for his wife I may add!), Lesley Joseph and below is America Ferrera, better known as Ugly Betty, in one of our dresses at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

One of our very own Lady JoJo's dresses was also worn by the gorgeous Rosie Marshall when she collected her BAFTA for Best Documentray at the 2012 ceremony.

Although we try to put as much as we can on the website, not all of our dresses will feature as we regularly try out or feature limited edition new styles and patterns so pop into the boutique for our full range of goodies!  We are open 11.00 - 18.00 Monday to Saturday.  We can be found in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, The Grassmarket (11 West Port, EH1 2JA).
